It’s about time to start boxing up all those gifts you’ve been buying! If you’re in need of some original gift wrapping ideas to pretty up those presents, we’re bringing you five different styles today.

Gift Wrapping 5 Ways- Celebration du Jour |

1. Elegant

Clean and classic, this style is great for upscale gatherings. We started with crisp white wrapping paper, and created simple racing stripes with black ribbon. The final touch was a strip of gold and an initial cut out of patterned gift-wrap to add a touch of flair and personalization.

2. Rustic

A great choice for your outdoors-y friend, craft paper and twine provide the perfect canvas to add earthy holiday accents. For this present, we snipped a few twigs from a pine tree, and added a piece of faux cranberries. The final touch is a tag cut from festive wrapping paper and clipped on with a mini clothespin!

3. Metallic

Silver and gold! We layered all the shiny ribbon we could find over white and silver patterned paper for this chic style. An oversized handmade bow seals the deal! This is a great style for those friends that celebrate a holiday other than Christmas.

4. Classic Christmas

Green and red cozy plaid makes this style scream Christmas! A thick green ribbon and red and white baker’s twine bring even more classic style, and we topped it all off with a jolly Santa gift tag.

5. Whimsical

Double-sided tape is your friend with this wrapping style! Our base was a super-fun printed wrapping paper, jazzed up with some lime green ribbon skewed over a thick red one. Add an ornament as the final touch for a two-in-one gift!

We hope you’re feeling inspired to create some gorgeous gifts this season. If you try any of these gift wrapping ideas be sure to share with us in the comments!
